Max and Phoebe were a couple to love. Max was set in not getting married due to how his father treated his mother and the family. Phoebe had went through hard times with they lost their money and standing with the town. But with her sister marriage it has put her family back in good standing. Ms. Hahn writing is just beautiful…she creates a story that sucks you in! I enjoyed reading aka ‘watching’ the interaction of between these two! Looking forward to more books in this series by Ms. Hahn!
