Book Review For: The Seduction of Viscount Vice by Nicola Davidson

Review:

‘The Seduction of Viscount Vice’ by Nicola Davidson is book Three in the “Fallen” series. This is the story of Lord Iain ‘Vice’ Vissen and Lady Mairi MacNair. I have read the other books but feel this can easily be a standalone book.
Mairi and Vice have met about 10 years ago when they were both young and innocent. Mairi was trying to get out of a marriage and ended up using Vice. Vice and Mairi did ‘enjoy’ each other but then Mairi disappeared. Vice was told that she had died and it had broken his heart. Now in the present day Mairi is working to become a leading lady instead of a behind the scene seamstress. To do so she is trying to spy of the Fallen Club to get information for the new club her boss is wanting to open.
But Vice catches her spying on his club and he is shocked to find she is alive and well. Which now opens him up to getting back at her for tricking him all those years ago…not to mention stop her from spying.
This was a really HOT romance and a great second chance at LOVE!

Book Review For: Rebel Custody Sarah Hawthorne

Review:

‘Rebel Custody’ by Sarah Hawthorne is book Two in the “Demon Horde” series. This is the story of Miriam Englestein “Miri” and Jean Luc Devameaix “Skeeter”.
I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book.
Skeeter up and left home around 19 years of age to join the military and never looked back. Now in the present day a person from his past comes forward to get money off of him for child support. It turns out that his old girlfriend had a baby and now she has past away a few years ago and the man that has been taking care of his son wants money for it.
Skeeter goes to see the child and finds that it sure looks like him and he wants custody.
Miri is referred to him as someone to help who could help get custody. Miri is a lawyer who is so different than what Skeeter is used to in women.
They decided to pose has boyfriend and girlfriend to get to know the child. In addition, this will help them get information that may help their case.
This was an exciting romance read!

Book Review For: The Heart of a Texas Cowboy Linda Broday

Review:

‘The Heart of a Texas Cowboy’ by Linda Broday is book Two in the “Men of Legend” series. This is the story of Houston and Lara. I have not yet read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book.
Houston was set to marry his childhood sweetheart but in a shot of a bullet that changed. Which that changed came the knowledge that he didn’t know the women he was marring after all.
Now almost a year later his father gets into a gambling debt that only Houston can get him out of. The debt… to marry a women he has never met and giver her child a name.
Lara’s father is trying to help Lara give her child a name and has arranged a marriage to Houston in exchange to forgive his father’s debt. Lara was brutally raped and hurt about a year ago and is looking only to give her child hope for a future.
But when Houston and Lara meet at the alter it appears that there might be more to what will be happening to them than just giving Lara’s child a name.

Book Review For: Sweet Southern Trouble by Michele Summers

Review:

‘ Sweet Southern Trouble” by Michele Summers is the story of Nick and Marabelle. This is my first book by Ms. Summers and I hope to read more of her stories! This was a fun, hot hard and hard to put down story!
Nick is a former NFL star and now coaches a a school team. Nick is used to women throwing themselves at him and people being taken with him. Nick was a hot male character that I so enjoyed his interactions with Marabelle. So Marabelle is somewhat a surprise to him. Marabelle is a Kindergartner assist teacher. A few school mishaps that have happen to her have put her on the not so popular list at school with the other teachers. But they have lined her up to talk Nick into helping them with their fundraiser and bachelor auction. If Marabelle can get Nick to help out this can possible set her up with a more permanent job there at the school.
Completely enjoyed this book!
